This day event of both talks and a workshop takes place at the Tree Health Centre at the Yorkshire Arboretum and is organised jointly by PlantNetwork and the Chartered Institute of Horticulture (CIH).
The event will focus on 'trees in designed landscapes, specifically the selection, sourcing and establishment of healthy trees.'
The big issues facing the health of trees in the UK will be looked at with an update on pests and diseases, and discussions on; sourcing healthy new tree stock, biosecurity and quarantine measures.
Featuring a great mix of speakers from; Fera Science, the Plant Healthy Certification Scheme, Royal Horticultural Society, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Yorkshire Arboretum.
