The RHS Apprenticeships scheme has opened for August 2024 placements and includes a choice of two-year apprenticeships; Horticultural Operative Apprentices (Level 2), Arborist Apprentices (Level 2) at all 5 RHS Gardens; Bridgewater, Harlow Carr, Hyde Hall, Rosemoor, and Wisley. This is a full-time work-based training programme (37.5 hours per week).
- Apprentices are paid RHS employees on a two or three-year fixed-term contract (depending on apprenticeship).
- The apprenticeships are aimed primarily at 16–19 year-olds, although are suitable for anyone looking to enter the horticultural industry.
Applicants should apply before 1st March, 2024 to be considered for an August 2024 placement.
