Until restrictions allow physical indoor tours to resume, the Linnean Society of London is running its popular Treasures Tours, virtually.
Join the knowledgeable and dedicated Collections staff on a tour through Burlington House to the Meeting Room and the beautiful Reading Room of the Library and into the collections store; where the books, manuscripts and specimens of Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus are kept and more.
The tour itinerary includes:
- Virtual tour with Dr Isabelle Charmantier FLS, Head of Collections
- Brief Q&A
- An introduction to the Society’s rare books, led by Librarian Will Beharrell, and to the Society’s archives collections, led by Archivist Liz McGow
