Horticultural Trainee Technician Scheme at CUBG

Cambridge University Botanic Garden (CUBG) has opened applications for its 2023-2024 Horticultural Trainee Technician Scheme, based in the 40 acre Garden.

This opportunity is for people wishing to pursue a career in horticulture, by gaining practical experience - and receiving a salary. This will be supplemented by a weekly programme including talks, seminars, demonstrations and plant identifications. Trainees must attend all teaching sessions during the year in order to complete the qualification - a Certificate of Higher Education in Practical Horticulture and Plantsmanship by the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education.

The training is for a period of one year, starting at the beginning of September 2023.

Closing date (for applications): 5th March, 2023

Interviews: anticipated week commencing 27th March, 2023
