The Garden Museum presents an online only floral masterclass 'Spring has Sprung' - hosted by florist Simon Lycett.
Since 1993, Simon has had an illustrious career in the flower industry and has been involved in many high-profile events over the years. Simon is a member of the Garden Media Guild, and sits on the Flower Market Advisory Committee for New Covent Garden Market and is a member of the RHS House Plants & Cut Flowers Advisory Group.
In the first of two upcoming workshops, Simon will demonstrate how to create a seasonal spring flower arrangement; all within a container showing the technique of using chicken wire to support the flowers.
Ingredient List
- Shallow vase or bowl
- 2” mesh chicken wire
- Reel wire or tape
- Small watering can
- Trails of ivy or similar
- 5 stems Viburnum tinus (laurustinus)
- 10 bunches assorted mixed Narcissus (daffodils)
- 5 bunches of mixed Anemone
This workshop does not include the ingredients and is delivered online only.
