Learn about the fascinating Orchidaceae family with trained orchid expert, tutor Luigi Leoni at Cambridge University Botanic Garden (CUBG).
This adult learning course in orchid cultivation and propagation is for anyone who has a passion for orchids or who has just received one as a present.
There will be a presentation to explore the botanical diversity of orchids, their importance through history as well as a practical session showing the plants in the CUBG collection and how they can be propagated.
Luigi Leoni trained at Threave Garden (National Trust for Scotland), Cambridge University Botanic Garden and then Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and is now back at the Botanic Garden as Glasshouse & Nursery Team Leader.
