The Linnean Society of London is running an 'Open House' day this September, in which for one day the historic Society opens its doors to the public – with no booking necessary.
The Linnean Society's website says:
"Guests of all ages are welcome to walk through our building, including our gorgeous library and Meeting Room containing portraits of famous scientists such as Carl Linnaeus, Charles Darwin and AR Wallace."
