The Gardens Trust presents 'World Heritage Landscapes' – a series of 7 online talks to mark 50 years of UNESCO World Heritage, and in particular the UK's contribution to this with its 33 World Heritage Sites. After the introductory talk, 6 Sites will be focused on:
Week 1. 12 September, 2023: Introduction to World Heritage with Chris Blandford, President of World Heritage UK and Vice Chair of The Gardens Trust. First in a series of 7 online talks,
Week 2. 19 September, 2023: The Lake District. Second in a series of 7 online talks,
Week 3. 26 September, 2023: Birkenhead Park. Third in a series of 7 online talks,
Week 4. 3 October, 2023: Blenheim Palace. Fourth in a series of 7 online talks,
Week 5. 10 October, 2023: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Fifth in a series of 7 online talks,
Week 6. 17 October, 2023: Studley Royal Park. Sixth in a series of 7 online talks,
Week 7. 24 October, 2023: Derwent Valley Mills. Last in a series of 7 online talks.
Talks take place between: 10:00 am and 11:30 am (BST)
