Knowledge Miles: The 695th Lord Mayor's Lectures: How Pollinator-Friendly Is The City of London?

As his working theme, The Rt Hon. The Lord Mayor, Professor Michael Raymond Mainelli (Alderman) – will champion 'Connect to Prosper'.

As part of this, there is a programme of webinars known as 'Knowledge Miles: The 695th Lord Mayor’s Lecture Series' – these 'are online webinars that explore the connections of the Square Mile and its roles as “The World’s Coffeehouse” addressing diverse global challenges'.

Presented by Pollinating London Together, this upcoming webinar in the series is called 'How Pollinator-Friendly Is The City of London?'. The webinar will feature Dr Heather Barrett-Mold OBE, Vice Chair of the Pollinating London Together Charity, a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, and founder member of the Livery Climate Action Group, and pollinator ecologist Dr Konstantinos Tsiolis.

Pollinating London Together (PLT) is a pan livery group founded by the Worshipful Company of Wax Chandlers and the Worshipful Company of Gardeners – 'born out of a need to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity and the decline in insect species, specifically pollinators'.
